The Palma Super Yacht Cup is one of the most eagerly awaited events on the regatta circuit in the world of super yachts. In 2022, after the Covid-19 pandemic, it brought together five ships of the prestigious J class, in addition to the usual participating classes.

Races were held in the waters of the Bay of Palma, which is mostly located within controlled airspace, with the appropriate permits having to be requested in advance, in addition to carrying out the appropriate coordination with the tower control and the managers of the airport infrastructure.

Once the use of an auxiliary boat with a good skipper in command, facilitated the take-off and landing maneuvers as well as the follow-up of the races depending on the participating classes.
