Description
PalmaVela is an essential event on the Mediterranean summer regatta circuit. It concentrates more than 150 boats in different categories (Maxi Class, IRC, ORC, Swan, J80, FF and Dragon…) and for four days the Bay of Palma is the scenary that hosts several regatta fields. Perhaps the king class is that of the Maxi class, which brought together in the 2023 edition great teams that disputed the victory.
Requirements
The photographer is as essential as the skipper of the tender from which he works. Being well positioned, not interfering with the regatta or adjusting speed to be able to shoot is essential. The clips were taken with a large stabilizer and from a tender at same speed as the racing sailboats. Camera assistant, planning work based on the different routes and regatta fields.
Publications
